The Saint Mary’s Difference

Founded by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Northwestern Pennsylvania in 1884, Saint Mary’s Home of Erie is a non-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) offering a full range of senior living and healthcare services with on-site amenities that support the active lifestyles of our residents.

You’ll find comfort in the fact that you and your loved one are part of a smaller, close-knit and locally governed community. You’ll feel supported by a group of residents, employees and volunteers who work together to create an atmosphere where everyone belongs. You’ll gain peace of mind knowing that you can live in the same community as you age, even as your needs change. See the difference for yourself by exploring our campus!

A History of Excellent and Compassionate Care

Saint Mary’s has the experience you and your loved one deserve – nearly 140 years of it! Our well-established history of providing excellent and compassionate care isn’t just something we say, it’s something we can prove. Saint Mary’s is proud to be among a small number of facilities in Pennsylvania that have received a five-year CARF-CCRC Accreditation and our Above Average rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) shows that our knowledgeable team is committed to quality care, safe staffing levels, and proper health and safety measures.

Hear about the excellent experience of our residents and employees first-hand.
