About us

Saint Mary's Home of Erie is a 501c3 nonprofit Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) and is one of the oldest sponsored ministries of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Northwestern Pennsylvania.

For more than 135 years, Saint Mary's has evolved to meet the ever-changing needs of seniors and their families in the Erie community. Saint Mary's offers a full continuum of senior living and healthcare services including Independent Living, Residential Living and Personal Care, Alzheimer's and Memory Care, Short and Long Term Rehabilitation, Skilled Nursing, Respite Care and Home Care. Amenities include on-site nursing staff, social services, support services, nutritional services, Catholic and Ecumenical religious services, beauty and barber services, and daily recreational activities.

Founded by the Sisters of St. Joseph and operated in the Catholic tradition Saint Mary’s Home of Erie is committed to an environment of loving to care where primarily seniors, their families, staff and volunteers participate in fostering an atmosphere of community.

Our Vision:

Saint Mary's Home of Erie, through partnership, networking and referrals will be a principal enabler to primarily seniors in the Erie Community aiding them in living their lives in a respectful, dignified and fulfilled manner.
